Job Description: We are looking to bring in an experienced Marketing Associate.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyzing market, customer, and company information to improve the marketing and business decisions of the company
- Performing in-depth competition analysis through building Reaction Matrices to assess competition landscape and optimize marketing-mix decisions
- Assessing market demand and trends through advanced math models using regression analysis and time-series forecasting with exponential-smoothing technique
- Developing a series of individual-market regression models in log-linear form to assess marketing promotional effectiveness and analyze customer individuals' responses to advertising
- Performing duties focused toward customer retention through partnership management
- Applying knowledge of SQL and excel, and proprietary SimplePower tools applications
- Utilizing Customer Information System to monitor and execute the daily operations process, including: processing transactions between customers, suppliers and Texas regulatory agencies
- Resolving transaction exceptions
- Maintaining marketing promotions and pricing
- Building models to forecast customer usage, gas prices and cash flows
- Monitoring and analyzing customer service representative queues and call volume
- Research and resolve operational issues as necessary
- Develop and implement process improvements to improve accuracy, data integrity and effectiveness
- And support the executive team with marketing, operations and financial analysis.
