Odessa, Texas, December 17, 2008 — In an effort to make the holidays a little brighter for students on ECISD campuses, community leaders in Odessa were invited by Jaclyn Gaona of the Ector County Independent School District to take time to read a Christmas story to elementary students. Brandon Brunson, Director of Community Relations for Simple Power, was selected as one of those community leaders to participate. He read to two classes at Hayes Elementary School.
"Our young people are truly the future of our communities, and I am pleased to be able to give back to the schools that work so hard teaching these students," said Brunson. "The wonder and excitement in the eyes of those kids was priceless. Thank you to the ECISD for giving Simple Power the opportunity to participate in this special event."
