AUSTIN, Texas, June 15, 2009 — Simple Power, a Texas retail electric provider that gives customers a smart alternative to their current electricity service, announced today Erik Gomez as the new Director of Information Systems and Gina Zaccari as the new Operations Analyst.

Prior to joining Simple Power, Gomez was the Lead Developer for the Education Business Unit for OZ-Systems, assisting them in achieving CMMI certification. He also worked as Senior Application Developer for the US Department of Labor.

Zaccari worked at DELL for 9 1/2 years before joining the Simple Power team. During her last 3 1/2 years at Dell she worked as a Retail Analyst for major accounts such as Wal-Mart and Best Buy.

Since launching in December 2007, Simple Power continues to rapidly expand in the energy market. Simple Power is in the process of hiring as many as 25 new employees in central Texas during the 2009-10 fiscal year in supportive, administrative and sales positions.
